COACHES USING NEW KETTLEBELL WEIGHTS FOR TRANING
The coaches stepped up another level by introducing kettle bell weights in their preparations for the 2024 season. Chris Sutton played for the old Transvaal in the 1990`s in the front row with great success. A Springbok wrestler for years and a current master world champion introduced the Kettle bells in training. He believes that this is the solution for younger players at school level and young wrestlers to build strength.

Our youngsters gave Raiders a rugby lesson. A balanced performance between the forwards and the backs saw them running in 7 tries to Raiders 1 try. Final score 43-7 to the young Elande.

Changes to the side and injuries on a weekly basis makes it difficult to be more consistent on game day. Roodepoort won the game 24-19.

Leading 12 all at halftime was not easy at all for the Elande. A brilliant try in the second half by Gustav de Lange made it a close win for the Elande. Elande won the game 19-12.

A second game for the season for our youngsters. They showed courage and determination on the field. To the coaches and management to keep these youngsters at training every week after no games on a weekend well done to you all. This is a young side to be watch and very talented they are going to be a side to be reckoned with throughout the season. Well deserved win 35-0.
